Contrary to popular belief and to the statements of President Obama, there was hardly an "investment deficit" by the government over the last 8 years. Obama is merely doubling down on Bush's expansive spending programs across the board, including the budget, bailouts, and public debt. Is this change, or just more of the same?

The issue for me is not will the Chinese be afraid of our debt. The issue for me, is how will they leverage what they now own, to force American politicians to comply with their demands? We have a President willing to make all sorts of "compromises" (lets call it what it is, appeasement), and if he's willing to make the compromises he has already & has told us he plans to make in addition to these, exactly what compromises will he & our Democrats in Congress make, if China gets pushy? Its not like they would fund a buildup of our military to fight off any Chinese aggression, now would they? If they will not, who would?
The answer is, no one! And that could mean terrible consequences for this nation. Perhaps President Obama will give up Alaska or Hawaii, or other territorial possessions, as partial payments? We have already gone too far. Now, how much farther does President Obama plan to go before America ends up bankrupt?

I have read alot of articles on the banking industry, and credit default swaps and the North American Union etc.
Lately you see alot of talk and headlines about a worlwide currency, an umbrella government run by the UN and international law superseding our national laws. Not all banks are suffering from financial crisis. Some banking institutions are reaping huge profits RIGHT NOW. Chase bank posted a +700 billion dollar profit in the last quarter of 2008. Maybe I am being paranoid ( I hope I am ) but it seems to me the banks are taking over governments. Not just in our country either. The same thing is going on in Europe. I watched a 2 hour video found on Youtube about this and would very much like to hear other opinions. It is a 2 hour video in about 12 parts. Part 1 is found here....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIB9FWKYNJ0 If any of that vido is remotely true we have far bigger problems than the differences between Republicans and democrats, capitalist and socialists etc. My fear is our country is being hijacked right under our nose. I am a conservative but I fear that George Bush was working for the same people as Barrack Obama. On a smaller scale they push agendas driven by their political parties but on a grander scale they are working towards a global government. Many people do not realize that the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE banking institution that was started by the same bankers that convinced our politicians into starting the Federal Income tax. The only thing worse than living in a Socialist government would be living in a Socialist world with a global government controlled by banks. Someone please convince me I am wrong. I will check back.

Lacking any other feasible alternative, I refuse to pay for this insanity.
What is the proper moral response to this? Stop paying income taxes altogether and risk prison time? Reduce my income dramatically and learn to barter? Move to another country knowing that as bad as it is here, it's worse elsewhere? I no longer believe the voting process will "change" anything, when we have a class of citizenry with no vested interest in voting away their free money. Our government has willfully and arrogantly broken the only Social Contract is has with the citizens and the sovereign states, the Constitution. What are we to do when our own federal government is the largest criminal on the planet?

The representatives we have sent to Washington, D.C., except for a few, are nothing but a bunch of addicts. Instead of using drugs like cocaine, heroin and such, their "fix" is obtained when they spend your and my money. Just like any addict, they cannot stop themselves from needing more and more and more of our money to get them high.
Since they cannot stop themselves, we have to stop them. We have to keep them away from our money, and force them to face the fact that they are addicted. It is time to put them all in rehab and find people who understand that it is OUR money, not theirs.

Rhode Island has lost about 25,000 plus jobs over the years and it will continue since companies under 5 employees cannot afford to pay W2 empoyees $18,000 for insurance before they pay the employee a dime! So, the jobs go South or disappear. That's some future for our kids! Well, I don't have kids but still what future is there with a debt load of almost $100,000 for every man, woman, and child (I heard one top econimist say). So, it's true that our whole country including our forests are owned by foreign countries as we stupidly build up another trillion dollars in debt while maiming and spilling the blood of our own children. This country has dumb leaders that only care about their own self interest and we all are slaves to the government that is just about printing money. They can do that since they dropped the gold standard back in 1978! Inflation will come here big time real soon. You can't just print money. That's what led Germany to WWII and it's what will lead us to WWIII. Oh, I forgot, we already started WWIII!

There is little value to pointing fingers and saying "Bush and the Republicans ruined everything. That's not really the issue. This issue is what do we do now? I've heard people say that Bush handed Obama a sinking boat and it is Bush's fault for everything. Maybe so, but it is Obama's job to stop fix things and stop the boat from sinking. If you are handed a sinking boat, it does little good to stand there drilling more holes in the bottom of the boat and then say it is Bush's fault the boat is sinking. Out of control government spending is a short term fix which will just result in more debt and temporary fixes. It's like getting a cash advance on a credit card so you can pay on another credit card so you can buy a new TV. It's a much bigger problem than just assigning blame. If it makes you feel better, blame everything on me. I'll take full responsibility for everything bad in the world if it will stop people from wasting time arguing who is at fault and start addressing the problem. Just my two cents (which after the hyper inflation we will be having soon due to expanded debt will only be worth .2 cents here soon)

What I saw and heard was shocking.It has put me in fear of Obama and what is happening to our country.Mr. beck decribes our economy in debts,and prooved to me that there is no way out of the deficit,and that obama and the democrats are trying to collaspe our government and take it over.One of his democratic guest was stating proofs of Obamma, and his fears of what obama is doing.While stating this he slipped out that some republicans are involved also. He also stated that the Czars that obama personally hired are crimminals,x cons,and communist radicals that have been trying to over throw the government for years,and provides proof. He said there is nothing we can do to stop these Czars,once appointed by Obama. Also that Obama has put these Carzs in control of billions of dollars. Don't cry about it, don't feel guilty about not being able to do anything about it, and don't take up arms, the time for that was done over 200 years ago. Freedom exists in the heart. There were people living under communism and fascism who were free. They were free because they did not allow external forces to define who they really were. Freedom is a state of mind. There are things we cannot do anything about as individuals. Accept it and move on. Politics is a sideshow designed as a distraction to keep people from realizing the real freedom is within. There were unfair taxes in Christ's time too. He said render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Don't make the mistake of rendering precious things to the tyrant. The precious things are your family, your soul, and your God. Slowly withdraw those things because these are what the tyrant is after. The money issues are another sideshow. Make money less important in your life. If everyone withdraws what is important, the tyrant will shrink and freedom will grow again. Anger just feeds the tyrant.
